About the Role
As a Business Development Associate, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth across a large, largely untapped market. This is a high-energy, outbound sales role designed to build your foundational selling capability and fast-track your progression into future Business Development Manager opportunities. You’ll work closely with experienced sales professionals, learning how to identify opportunities, engage prospects, and contribute to driving pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and targeted campaigns across defined territories.
- Manage inbound leads and follow up on marketing activity in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and build early-stage pipeline.
- Book and support product demonstrations in partnership with Business Development Managers.
- Work closely with senior sales stakeholders to progress opportunities through the pipeline.
- Execute structured outreach strategies to generate consistent, high-quality opportunities.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline management, and data integrity within CRM systems.
- Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to improve prospecting, productivity, and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Early experience in tele sales, SDR, BDA, or a customer-facing sales role (preferred).
- Strong motivation to build a long-term career in sales.
- High resilience and ability to thrive in a high-activity, high-rejection environment.
- Confident communicator with strong phone presence and interpersonal skills.
- Curious, coachable, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
- Creative approach to engaging and connecting with prospects.
- Interest in AI, technology, and modern sales methodologies.
- Exposure to B2B sales environments (bonus).
- Background in legal or professional services (bonus).
