About the Role
As a Relationship Manager in Group Benefits, you will partner with the Sales team and broker partners to deliver solutions to mid-market account groups, helping them build and protect their business and financial security. You will act as an industry expert and consultant while driving profitable revenue growth through customized strategies.
Responsibilities
- Profitably retain and grow an assigned block of in-force group business
- Deliver a strategic relationship plan including quarterly and annual goals
- Handle complex service issues, plan amendments, and expert renewal analysis
- Provide functional leadership by training, mentoring, and onboarding Client Relationship Consultants
- Deliver training on products and services to broker partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of related account management experience
- Ability to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for face-to-face customer and broker interactions
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
