About the Role

The Product Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs for Porter's digital products. They collaborate within cross-functional squads to contribute to discovery, design flows, prototypes, and user interfaces, ensuring solutions align with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product discovery with Product Owners and Researchers, contributing insights on user needs and opportunities.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Design user interfaces for digital products, ensuring a consistent and delightful user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user-friendly solutions.
• Incorporate user feedback and data analytics into the design process.
• Work iteratively with squads, ensuring design solutions align to product KPIs such as adoption, conversion, and NPS.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and business requirements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system or component library.
• Present design work to peers and stakeholders for review and feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product or UX/UI design.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of product design work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) or an understanding of agile development processes.
