About the Role
As a Field Inspection and Maintenance Assistant, you will work independently to inspect, service, and maintain Network Assets or other elements of the Telecommunication Network, ensuring a great customer experience. You will actively participate in a diverse team to deliver optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned with the corporate strategy. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Deliver seamless Network rectification and remediation.
- Inspect and maintain Network Assets such as Poles, Payphones, Pits, and Exchange components.
- Ensure work is undertaken in a timely, cost-effective manner, working efficiently and to a high standard to meet performance targets.
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, the Code of Conduct, Telstra Values, and Corporate policies.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain relevant and applicable licenses and qualifications as deemed mandatory by regulatory and legal authorities.
- Maintain a current driver’s license.
- Possess a valid car license.
- Hold an industry white card.
- Possess traffic management qualifications (beneficial).
- Hold a Working with Children Check.
