About the Role

As a Field Inspection and Maintenance Assistant, you will work independently to inspect, service, and maintain Network Assets or other elements of the Telecommunication Network, ensuring a great customer experience. You will actively participate in a diverse team to deliver optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned with the corporate strategy. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver seamless Network rectification and remediation.
  • Inspect and maintain Network Assets such as Poles, Payphones, Pits, and Exchange components.
  • Ensure work is undertaken in a timely, cost-effective manner, working efficiently and to a high standard to meet performance targets.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards, the Code of Conduct, Telstra Values, and Corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Hold and maintain relevant and applicable licenses and qualifications as deemed mandatory by regulatory and legal authorities.
  • Maintain a current driver’s license.
  • Possess a valid car license.
  • Hold an industry white card.
  • Possess traffic management qualifications (beneficial).
  • Hold a Working with Children Check.

Work Type

  • Fixed Term
  • 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri
  • Overtime when required
