About the Role
ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, manages the Harbour Zone in partnership with Transport for NSW. This role supports the Customer & Stakeholder Manager in building community relationships, ensuring consultation obligations are met, and managing the organization's reputation to drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for the community, stakeholders, and customers regarding planned works.
- Assist in conducting community, stakeholder, and customer consultations.
- Participate in door-knocks and meetings with residents and stakeholders.
- Organize the distribution of information via traditional and digital channels.
- Coordinate with the Fault Management Centre and local councils regarding road maintenance activities.
- Manage vegetation trimming coordination, including door-knocking and letter drops for private land access.
- Draft community engagement plans for management approval.
- Create and coordinate approvals for public-facing collateral.
- Maintain the Consultation Manager database to record and close out interactions.
- Provide data to support ministerial briefings, media responses, and correspondence.
- Support research and survey programs to gain stakeholder insights.
- Manage weekly milestone reporting for TfNSW.
- Oversee the 1800 community line and community inbox.
- Provide high-level customer service to build organizational goodwill.
Requirements
- Current driver's licence.
- Exposure to the building, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Experience in community relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Highly organized and methodical approach.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
