About the Role
The Electricity On Sell Executive optimizes existing electricity on-selling sites, supports new project expansions, and delivers the Electricity On-Selling strategy to maximize asset performance. This role collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to manage electricity sales opportunities, develop new revenue streams, and oversee energy-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage all external stakeholder energy and EN queries and communications via the Zendesk ticketing platform.
- Ensure compliance with EN Exemption and state-specific regulations, including ESC Vic, AER, and EWOV.
- Negotiate SME and C&I tariffs with tenant move-ins and lease assignments.
- Maintain copies of existing tenant lease SEOAs filed by asset.
- Coordinate all EN operational-related tasks, processes, and projects.
- Oversee project fundamentals and day-to-day processes, addressing any issues that arise.
- Support project expansion rollouts by planning and executing tasks.
- Provide internal staff training on EOS procedures and best practices.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for electricity on-selling projects.
- Monitor financial performance by tracking key metrics and analysing data.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations by conducting regular audits and reviews.
- Promote innovation in electricity sales and energy management practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in electricity sales, energy management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Extensive experience in managing third-party contracts, negotiating new contracts, and overseeing energy-related projects and development work.
- Demonstrated experience in leading project teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of electricity sales principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of energy contract management, including negotiation and execution.
- Familiarity with financial management, including budgeting, financial performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Insight into current trends and innovations in energy management and electricity sales.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies for electricity sales and energy management.
- Skilled in managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to standards, and achieving optimal project outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and coordinate project teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in liaising with various stakeholders to address concerns and enhance project outcomes.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial management, including budgeting and financial performance monitoring.
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
- Must have existing, relevant Australian work rights.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal History Background/Police Check.
