About the Role

This role focuses on coordinating, growing, and building the production and pipeline of Transactional Risk business within the M&A team, with a specific emphasis on law firm relationships. The position involves directional management, including financial and operational responsibility, while adhering to Group standards. Key activities include identifying, managing, and developing client, insurer, and team relationships, as well as converting prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate collaborative processes to ensure well-articulated and prioritized medium and long-term goals for the M&A proposition and strategy.
  • Build WTW’s M&A capability, ensuring the highest standard of execution and advice.
  • Optimize revenue from new and existing clients by utilizing appropriate placement channels and markets to deliver bespoke insurance solutions within tight timeframes.
  • Collaborate with M&A team members and producers locally and globally, considering local culture and capabilities to identify and convert M&A business.
  • Facilitate M&A initiatives and support Finex Group FINEX initiatives and innovation.
  • Work with other centers of excellence, WTW offices, and lines of business to convert business and coordinate activities, including innovation and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation of regular updates, reports, and analysis for M&A, Finex, line of business, and Corporate Risk and Broking leadership.
  • Understand client businesses, structures, and insurance needs.
  • Identify primary budget holders and decision-makers within clients and establish/maintain active relationships.
  • Support and build strong relationships with underwriters/insurers in London and international markets.
