About the Role

Our Group Home service operates 24/7, offering a variety of shifts including morning, day, evening, and awake night shifts. You’ll need to be available for 3–4 days per week, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours. For those seeking additional hours, there are opportunities to work up to 40 hours per week on a casual basis. Our North Shore group homes are conveniently located across Hornsby, Mount Colah, Turramurra, Pymble, St Ives, and surrounding areas. You must be available and willing to work across all North Shore group home locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, person-centred support within a group home environment
  • Assist clients with mealtimes, personal care, medication administration, and manual handling using a range of equipment and aids
  • Support clients to engage in community activities and build meaningful social connections
  • Empower clients to make their own choices and develop skills to increase independence
  • Monitor clients’ wellbeing and accurately document and report on progress
  • Provide transport support as required, including driving the CPA minivan
  • Contribute to a supportive, fun, and dynamic team culture

Requirements

  • Available for a minimum of 3 days a week, 20 hours (this is a minimum requirement - there are 38+ hours available if you wish)
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)
  • Ability to travel locally across the North Shore
  • Must be available and willing to work across all North Shore group home locations as required
