About the Role

Join a dynamic and growing property management company in Ithaca, NY! HH Red Stone is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and appeal of our properties. Maintenance staff are responsible for all aspects of property maintenance including curb appeal, service requests, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and relations with associates, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations.
Conduct electrical repairs, replacements, and installations.
Repair drywall, filling holes from normal wear and tear.
Perform minor drywall touch-ups and repaint unit walls between residents.
Repair, replace, or install household appliances.
Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and smoke detectors.
Perform health and safety maintenance tasks to ensure resident well-being.
Install locks to enhance property security.

Requirements

Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Capacity to collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
