Responsibilities

  • Deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

  • Establish personal sales goals and implement a plan of action to achieve goals.
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that impact retail automotive sales.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Process data and organize it for management analysis.
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization.
  • Stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift.
  • Assist in cleaning vehicles from snow if applicable to the local climate.

  • This position requires a good deal of walking or standing, 50 percent of the time or greater will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, showroom, service department, offices) for most of the shift.
  • This position may include prolonged periods of sitting with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
  • This position requires climb, stoop, and kneel.
  • This position requires the ability to hear and talk.
  • This position requires the ability to have sufficient foot/hand/eye coordination to safely drive a vehicle.
  • Will spend time outdoors, under varying climate conditions, subject to the elements, and may experience extreme heat and extreme cold and will also spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas.
  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Driving Record the meets insurance requirements and company policy.
  • Current and active Sales License, in states where applicable.
