About the Role

Sid Harvey’s, an HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a full-time Driver for their Medford, NY location. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, efficient order processing, and safe transportation of products while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers promptly and courteously with purchases and order processing.
• Use proper safety measures when driving, loading, and transporting products.
• Perform all job responsibilities safely, timely, and efficiently.
• Represent Sid Harvey’s in a professional manner.
• Accurately and safely load and unload trucks.
• Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality.
• Maintain clear aisles and walkways, ensuring material is organized.
• Assist in maintaining the appearance of the branch through cleaning and straightening.
• Drive company vehicle for customer deliveries and stock pick-ups, obeying traffic laws.
• Report back orders and material discrepancies.
• Report customer feedback and potential opportunities to the Branch Manager.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections.
• Assist in year-end physical inventories.
• Perform other responsibilities as directed.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21.
• 3 years of safe driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.
• Acceptable driving history record.
• Adherence to the Sid Harvey Industries, Inc. Driving Safety Policy.
• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Ability to pass a Drug Test.
• Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner.
• Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
