About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Strategist to join a growing strategy team within Publicis Health Canada. This client-facing role involves building engagement strategies that drive measurable behavior change, developing creative briefs and activation plans, and contributing to annual brand planning. You will be dedicated to one or two clients, gaining deep understanding of their brands and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Build engagement strategies that change how HCPs and patients think and act, including customer journeys, touchpoint planning, digital and interactive strategies, content strategy, and messaging frameworks.
  • Develop activation briefs and plans, including writing briefs, leading tactical ideation, collaborating with media on channel strategy, and assisting clients with their annual tactical roadmap.
  • Support brand planning by facilitating annual brand planning sessions with clients, contributing strategic thinking, and translating plans into actionable next steps.
  • Facilitate working sessions, including leading workshops, brainstorms, or planning sessions with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Help build effectiveness frameworks to track performance and inform adjustments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engagement strategy, brand strategy, or a closely related discipline within healthcare (pharma, biotech, vaccines, OTC, or medical devices).
  • Agency experience is required.
  • Experience across HCP and consumer/patient audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts.
  • Ability to think in terms of business impact.
  • Clear writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Comfortable with AI tools.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Curious, flexible, and a team player.
