About the Role
Join Veolia as an Account Manager in our Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division to create advanced chemical water and process treatment solutions. You will act as a technical advisor, developing customer relationships and delivering creative solutions that improve sustainability, optimize profitability, and enhance asset protection.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, build, and optimize chemical treatment programs for Cooling Water, Boiler Water, Wastewater, Memchem, and Process Applications.
- Conduct sample testing and deliver Technical Service Reports that analyze customer data, interpret results, and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Execute the Account Management Excellence Program including Service Plans, Value Generation Plans, and Business Reviews.
- Plan and communicate Veolia's Value Generation Plans through projects that drive water & energy sustainability and improve asset protection.
- Meet and achieve annual revenue targets while managing margin reviews, price escalations, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain a healthy sales funnel and secure new, recurring, profitable business opportunities.
- Work safely at all times, following all EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science or Engineering/Technologist (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of direct experience in the field and water treatment industry will also qualify, high school education is required.
- Chemical water & process treatment experience.
- 4+ years of technical sales experience with demonstrated success in account management, revenue growth, and customer relationship building.
- Experience with consultative selling and technical solution development.
- A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations and chemistry concepts.
- Sample analysis and testing.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude for small-scale equipment and instrumentation.
- Excellent time management in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments.
- Openness to continuous learning and professional development.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
