About the Role

Lead and scale Grow Therapy's iOS engineering team, owning the technical vision, people strategy, and execution for the mobile platform to build consumer-grade experiences for millions of clients and thousands of providers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the long-term technical vision and strategy for the iOS platform.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8-9 iOS engineers, improving craft, code quality, performance, and mobile UX.
  • Partner with Product and Design leadership to shape the mobile roadmap.
  • Drive high-quality, high-velocity shipping with strong operational frameworks.
  • Build scalable mobile architecture, including decisions on app performance, offline capabilities, release management, CI/CD, and platform tooling.
  • Use data to guide decisions, instrument systems, measure impact, and optimize the iOS experience.
  • Execute on performance management, coaching engineers on challenges and career development.
  • Foster a welcoming, collaborative, high-trust team culture with low attrition.
  • Contribute to the broader engineering organization by collaborating with peer Senior EMs and leaders on org-wide initiatives and engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years leading engineering teams.
  • 2+ years managing iOS or mobile-focused teams.
  • Strong iOS technical depth, including Swift, UIKit/SwiftUI, and mobile architecture patterns.
  • Track record of shipping polished, high-quality mobile experiences at scale in a consumer or marketplace environment.
  • Product engineering mindset, understanding user needs and translating them into mobile experiences.
  • Experience scaling teams through rapid growth, including hiring, onboarding, and developing engineers.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills, including influencing non-technical stakeholders.
  • Founder's mindset: ownership, speed, scrappiness, resilience, and bias toward action.
  • Passion for building high-performance teams and developing engineers.
