About the Role

Corpay is seeking a commercially minded, proactive, and highly organised Marketing & Events Manager to join their Global Marketing team. This role will focus on shaping and delivering marketing and events activity for the Private Markets business, supporting its growth across the UK, EMEA, North America, and APAC. The position has a strong events focus, involving planning, delivery, and measurement of a diverse event calendar, alongside broader marketing activities like campaign planning, content development, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the Private Markets marketing and communications strategy across multiple regions, aligning with business goals, new business acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Plan and organize marketing initiatives across all channels, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with directors and sales management to plan customer and prospect events, seminars, roundtables, private dinners, and webinars, managing budgets and reporting on ROI.
  • Plan and manage annual tradeshows, conferences, and sponsored industry events, handling logistics and reporting on performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of events, including planning, supplier coordination, venue liaison, invitations, attendee management, sales briefing, onsite support, and post-event reporting.
  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing projects and programs to drive sales growth.
  • Support digital marketing programs, including social media, email nurture, landing pages, and online channels, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and collaborative marketing opportunities with industry organizations and regional sales teams.
  • Assist with Account Based Marketing and nurture programs for priority accounts and segments.
  • Develop and draft marketing content, including event invitations, email copy, landing page copy, social media content, brochures, sell-sheets, presentations, webinars, case studies, and sales enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with content and communications teams to develop marketing and PR collateral that supports the sales process and positions Corpay as an industry leader.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with support departments and third-party suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing, events, or communications role, ideally within financial services, fintech, professional services, or another complex B2B environment.
  • Strong experience in the development, production, and execution of exhibition and event projects.
  • Proven experience planning and delivering B2B events, including industry conferences, sponsored events, roundtables, webinars, client hospitality, or proprietary hosted events.
  • Experience managing or developing junior team members is highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record of running successful marketing campaigns that support brand awareness, lead generation, client engagement, and sales growth.
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills.
  • Ability to identify new marketing opportunities, particularly across events, partnerships, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Proven experience running successful Account Based Marketing and/or nurture programs.
  • Proven hands-on experience in planning and executing social media strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and accustomed to working with complex sets of marketing data.
  • Experience in managing budgets and effectively tracking ROI.
  • Excellent CRM skills, including Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly HubSpot.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Knowledge of design software or project management tools is preferable.
