About the Role
Green Dot is seeking a solutions-oriented professional to play a central role in shaping HR Technology and Operations strategy during a pivotal transformation. This role involves designing and scaling data-driven HR programs, optimizing Workday systems, and improving the overall employee experience in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert across modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, and Talent.
- Configure, test, and deploy system enhancements to improve business outcomes.
- Maintain business processes, security roles, and data governance to ensure accuracy and scalability.
- Analyze HR processes end-to-end to implement automation and efficiency improvements.
- Enhance employee and manager experience through streamlined MSS/ESS processes.
- Build advanced reports and dashboards to support business decisions and workforce planning.
- Manage and enhance Workday integrations including EIB, APIs, Studio, and PECI.
- Partner with IT and vendors to ensure reliable system performance.
- Lead or support HR technology initiatives such as system upgrades and transformation efforts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Legal departments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
- Expertise in at least one Workday module such as HCM, Compensation, or Payroll.
- Advanced reporting skills including calculated fields and dashboards.
- Experience with system configuration, process optimization, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong initiative, ownership mindset, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work from Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; San Diego, CA; Birmingham, AL; or Tampa, FL.
