About the Role

Join Humana’s Transformation Office team, a high-performing group working closely with senior leaders to chart the company’s future. This role supports complex, coordinated efforts to execute enterprise strategy, accelerating our long-term vision by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and implementing initiatives that fundamentally change member, patient, provider, and associate experiences. The team operates similarly to top-tier management consultancies, tackling fast-paced, high-visibility projects aligned with the enterprise’s most important Transformation topics.

Responsibilities

  • Leads execution of one complex workstream (or multiple, less complex workstreams) with limited oversight.
  • Develops initiative-level workplans and manages outcome-based delivery.
  • Solves problems creatively, producing strategies and executing against specific deliverables independently.
  • Generates data-based insights and action plans.
  • Creates compelling executive-level written communication.
  • Establishes trust-based relationships with business, becoming an emerging expert in specific focus areas.
  • Contributes to a positive and collaborative working and learning environment.
  • Supports complex and coordinated efforts to execute enterprise strategy.
  • Identifies opportunities, designs solutions, and implements initiatives to change experiences.
  • Develops industry analysis.
  • Builds high-level financial/business models.
  • Conducts informational interviews.
  • Manages complex projects with numerous stakeholders.
  • Synthesizes recommendations into executive-level deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience in management consulting (with exposure to large-scale business or operational transformations) OR healthcare industry experience (payer, provider, or insurance preferred) with involvement in strategy, operations, or transformation efforts.
  • Experience developing business recommendations using structured hypothesis-based problem solving.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex or cross-functional workstreams.
  • Ability to influence executive leaders to action.
  • Demonstrable capabilities with quantitative analysis and research.
  • Demonstrable capabilities with stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrable capabilities with executive communications in PowerPoint or Word formats.
  • Exposure to technology-driven solutions, especially in healthcare environments.
  • Creation and delivery of executive-level written and oral communications.
  • Program management experience on driving large-scale, transformational change programs.
