About the Role
The Clinic Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the organization, coordination, and management of the New Lisbon Family Medical Center, while also providing direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including telephone triage, patient education, and workload management.
- Manage work schedules, timesheets, and vacation/leave approvals.
- Oversee training for current and new staff, including interviewing, hiring, and orientation.
- Conduct employee annual evaluations, address employee issues, and perform disciplinary actions.
- Schedule and facilitate team meetings and huddles.
- Manage supply and vaccine orders, including VFC and Wifi Senso.
- Submit purchase and maintenance orders for the clinics.
- Foster team building, communication, and ensure compliance with policies and professional standards.
- Manage patient care staffing and monitor daily performance for accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
- Monitor work quality in clinics, providing feedback and corrective guidance.
- Develop effective decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive image.
- Assist with clinic-related audits, inspections, or surveys.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
- Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- 3+ years of related work experience in a similar role preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
