About the Role

WildBrain CPLG is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Marketing team member in South Korea to support APAC marketing initiatives for licensed brands and entertainment properties. This role involves developing and executing regional marketing activities, local market activations, and adapting global campaigns for cultural relevance and commercial impact in South Korea and the wider APAC region. The position requires close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day marketing operations, including campaign timelines, budgets, approvals, asset delivery, and ROI tracking.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, brands, and licensees to pitch, develop, and manage marketing campaigns supporting commercial objectives.
  • Support the planning and execution of APAC marketing campaigns across Korea and selected regional markets.
  • Contribute to the development of regional marketing initiatives, including strategy, ideation, project management, and execution.
  • Proactively suggest marketing ideas and opportunities to grow WildBrain’s brands, integrating licensee products where appropriate.
  • Adapt global creative concepts and assets for local relevance, ensuring strong cultural and market fit.
  • Coordinate approvals with global brand teams, franchise teams, regional marketing leads, social teams, and external partners.
  • Support the execution of social-first and digital-led campaigns, working closely with internal and external teams.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of retail, promotional, experiential, and event-based activations.
  • Liaise with agencies, creators, and production partners to deliver high-quality marketing outputs.
  • Monitor campaign performance and support post-campaign reporting and insights.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across APAC while maximizing local relevance for the Korean market.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in marketing, brand, or agency roles (entertainment, licensing, character brands, FMCG, or lifestyle sectors preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the Korean consumer, digital ecosystem, and youth culture trends.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, regional or multi-market environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones with global and regional teams.
  • Fluent in Korean with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Passion for entertainment, character IP, pop culture, and social marketing.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with confidence in presenting ideas and materials.
