About the Role
TrellisWare is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the execution of marketing initiatives, including trade shows, events, collateral coordination, and PR campaigns. This role involves planning, execution, budget tracking, and lead management for events, as well as supporting marketing campaigns using Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of all aspects of external trade shows, conferences, and events, as well as internal company events.
- Coordinating logistics with show/event organizers, completion of required forms/contracts, staffing, booth layout, giveaways, shipping of trade show supplies, and tracking of sales leads.
- Support annual trade show budget planning and monthly tracking for trade show and event expenses.
- Researching tradeshows/events, estimating cost to exhibit/participate, and helping to define the yearly plan.
- Maintain and update tradeshow and events calendar internally and on company web site using WordPress.
- Support planning of marketing campaigns and execution using Salesforce campaign marketing tools, including tracking.
- Support the Marcom department in logistics coordination and production of marketing collateral, inventory management, and outside printing.
- Proactively collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and People and Culture teams to ensure project completion with technical accuracy and current business messaging.
- Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field of study required.
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing and/or communications experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce and MailChimp.
- Must be detail oriented, as well as being able to handle and track multiple projects and deliverables associated with shows and events.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with trade show and event planning (minimum 1-3 years of experience).
- Demonstrated experience using detailed systems to track tradeshows, conferences, and events.
- Must have superior organization skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to drive cross-functional projects.

- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
