About the Role
This role drives event production and strategy for flagship external and tier 1 internal events, leading the development of a three-year Executive Program strategy. It involves building event measurement, strategy, and operations infrastructure to scale the event portfolio and shape how a high-growth company views events as a business driver.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the development of a comprehensive three-year Executive Program strategy and roadmap, defining objectives, target audience segments, experience models, measurement frameworks, and go-to-market approach.
- Drive key workstreams for flagship external events and owned, customer-facing programs, including venue management, creative, F&B, AV, and attendee experience.
- Own reporting on attendance, engagement, and pipeline metrics for external events while building playbooks for future iterations.
- Manage strategy, logistics, and ROI for internal events, including Sales Kickoff and annual incentive trip, ensuring they meet engagement and business objectives.
- Define KPIs and build dashboards across owned and regional events in collaboration with the analytics team.
- Codify successful event strategies by building repeatable operational workflows, vendor templates, creative briefs, and speaker contracts.
- Manage external speaker sourcing and contracts, identifying and negotiating with marquee talent.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize spend.
- Develop and track event strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to portfolio strategy and measurement framework rollout.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience driving events at high-growth B2B tech companies.
- Comfortable with $5M+ event budgets, vendor negotiations, and strategic problem-solving under tight timelines.
- Analytically minded with the ability to examine data before and after events to identify learnings.
- Proven experience owning complex programs and working effectively across functions.
- Ability to influence through relationships and ideas.
- Composure and focus maintained in high-pressure situations.
- Experience with digital or hybrid event components (livestream, registration platforms, virtual attendee experiences).
- Track record of building playbooks or scalable processes.
- Background managing high-touch executive or incentive programs.
