About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in Toronto. You will support clients in maintaining their safety and independence at home, providing personal care and assistance to help them live their best lives.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients in their homes
- Assist clients with mobilization and light exercises
- Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to management
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in care plans
Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification, Level C
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 12 months
- Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Up-to-date immunization record
- Ability to travel between client homes
- Commitment to work every other weekend, minimum 5 hours both Saturday and Sunday
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)

- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Organizational skills
- Reliability
- French or other language proficiency (asset)

Salary/Compensations
- $22.89 to $24.63 per hour
