About the Role
BCG offers an elective for exceptional medical students to gain insight into healthcare management. Develop business skills and explore topics in medicine, including NHS structures, healthcare technologies, and pharmaceutical industry challenges.
Responsibilities

- Understand the structures and mechanics of the NHS.
- Leverage the potential of healthcare technologies to redefine healthcare provision.
- Address challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
- In penultimate or final year of medical school.
- Applying as part of a formal medical school elective program.
- Able to spend 7 weeks with BCG during spring 2027, starting April 12, 2027.
- Achieved a grade of 2:1 or higher in any completed B.Sc. / BA.
- Demonstrate evidence of high-level success in extracurricular activities.
- Exhibit genuine interest or experience in healthcare management.
- CV in a consulting-appropriate format.
- Submit application before 11:59 PM on August 9, 2026.
