About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and self-starting Advanced Engineer (HGV/PSV Technician level 3) to join our dynamic Engineering team in the bus industry. This role offers a unique shift pattern with significant time off and opportunities to boost highly competitive wages.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, and maintain buses.
- Investigate and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults.
- Record faults and repair work using a tablet.
- Follow safety instructions and report any issues.
Requirements
- NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent international qualification).
- PCV licence is desired but not essential.
- Good standard of Maths and English.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
- Knowledge of fleet management technical computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly.
- Willingness to undertake training.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative.
- Safety consciousness in all actions.
