About the Role

Cleans and services assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards. Ensures guest satisfaction by responding to requests and maintaining a professional image.

Responsibilities

• Changes sheets, makes beds, and vacuums guest rooms.
• Dusts entire guest room, including furniture, fixtures, and ledges.
• Cleans all mirrors.
• Notifies guest services upon completion of room service.
• Reports rooms unable to be serviced to the supervisor.
• Reports needed repairs and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Responds to guest, supervisor, or management requests efficiently.
• Maintains linen cart and supplies in an organized manner.
• Maintains security of equipment, keys, and supplies.
• Reports lost and found articles to the supervisor.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenishes guest room supplies such as glasses, writing materials, bathroom supplies, and linen.
• Cleans rooms according to brand and company standards.
• Follows procedures for team cleaning and self-inspecting.
• Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
• Reports complaints or requests to the appropriate department.
• Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Keeps maid station clean and organized.
• Makes rollaway beds.
• Maintains a professional appearance and dress.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
