About the Role
We are seeking a driven Surveyor or Senior Surveyor (MRICS) to join our thriving London Building Consultancy team. This role offers the chance to work with major investors, landlords, and occupiers on diverse commercial property projects within a collaborative, high-performing environment. You will engage in both professional and project-driven work, with opportunities to enhance technical expertise, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our London operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full range of core Building Surveying services, including Dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Contract Administration & Employer’s Agent duties, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCA), and Schedules of Condition.
- Conduct building pathology, defect analysis, and reporting.
- Manage and nurture client relationships across the portfolio.
- Support and mentor junior surveyors.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across PDS, Valuation, Agency, and Asset Services.
- Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives.
- Undertake regional and pan-European projects as required.
Requirements
- MRICS-qualified with relevant commercial consultancy experience.
- Strong grounding in core Building Surveying professional services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Highly organised with strong report writing capability.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple instructions.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture.
- Experience with investor, developer, and occupier clients is desirable.
