About the Role

We are looking for innovative, self-starting individuals with a passion for working in the busy and dynamic bus industry to join our Engineering teams across London depots. This role offers a competitive wage and significant time off, with opportunities for voluntary overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to business requirements.

Requirements

  • Hold at least an NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification).
  • Possess a good standard of Maths and English.
  • Be able to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
  • Be good in a team.
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work flexibly.
  • Be happy to take any training the service manager asks.
  • Be able to work well using your own initiative.

Skills

  • IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician (training provided if not held).
  • PCV licence (desired but not essential).
  • Fleet management technical computer systems proficiency.

Location

  • Battersea Depot

Work Type

  • 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern
  • 5 day shifts available
