About the Role
Manage the train presentation supplier contract, ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetics of the Class 345 fleet. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand customer needs and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to meet high expectations.
Responsibilities
- Interface closely with key customers
- Build relationships with key suppliers
- Assist customers with sustainability strategies
- Serve as Alstom's single point of contact for customer-facing issues, including cleaning and train presentation matters
- Develop and execute a program of customer/supplier audits to maintain high standards
- Interact with other Alstom departments
- Collaborate to develop a Customer Experience (CEx) strategy
- Manage the Cleaning Service Provider daily via Performance KPIs
- Lead monthly contract reviews with Cleaning Service Providers
- Work with customers to ensure effective defect reporting
- Build close partnerships with the Train Operator and customer through performance reviews, feedback seeking, and delivery
- Compile and present periodic performance reports
Requirements
- Experience working in/with a Train Operator in a CEx/Train presentation environment (candidates from other industries will be considered)
- Passion for delivering an excellent customer experience to the travelling public
- Excellent communicator capable of building relationships with customers
- Ability to influence and drive cultural change across all levels of the Alstom organization
- Credible team player with a proven track record of working with internal teams, contractors, and customers
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- IT skills – competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, e-mail and intranet
