About the Role

STV is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Buildings team in our Boston, MA office. This role offers exposure to multidisciplinary teams and provides a solid foundation for developing structural engineering expertise within the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and analysis of building structures, including steel, concrete, and other structural systems
• Assist in preparing structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated design solutions
• Support projects through various phases, from design through construction

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in structural analysis and design, preferably within buildings or vertical construction
• Ability to work both in an office environment and on project sites as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, career-driven individual with interest in building design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize technical information
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively in team environments
