About the Role
MAPP is the UK’s leading specialist in commercial property and asset management. We focus on making buildings work for people and the planet, delivering a fully integrated and holistic approach. This role provides a dedicated technical resource for One Millennium Bridge, supporting the client and managing technical aspects of the property from handover through to full occupation and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Provide a dedicated technical resource across One Millennium Bridge.
- Liaise with the LOB operational team to assist in the delivery of MEP-focused ESG initiatives.
- Take a lead role in building optimisation implementations.
- Consider implementation of new technologies including ‘Smart buildings solutions’ and Internet of Things (IOT) monitoring solutions.
- Lead initiatives related to MEES or carbon to net-zero.
- Take a lead role in liaising with any fit-out, project work, or redevelopment instructions.
- Review technical documentation on behalf of managing agents relating to fit-out, project, or redevelopment work.
- Lead and assist operational teams with management and partnerships of MEP/VT supply partners, including consultants.
- Provide advice and guidance on MAPP-instructed MEP or VT projects and escalate requests to the Technical Service Director.
- Provide guidance to responsible persons on the management of compliance documentation and associated actions.
- Provide ad hoc Technical resources to the wider Portfolio to ensure MEP compliance audits are completed in line with ACOPs, ISO, and British standards.
- Contribute to the Facilities Management, Building Consultancy, and Sustainability team's service offering.
- Develop a partnering ethos to aid MAPP V3 offers.
- Provide input and comment on project works from an ongoing maintenance and facilities management perspective.
- Assist in the administration of MEP Data in Risk Wise and other electronic management systems.
- Assist with the management of technical site inspections and audits.
- Support the Facilities Management Team on small building works projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
- Provide Engineering contact touchpoint for the business, directing questions upward or via the consultant support network.
- Conduct periodic audits in conjunction with MEP consultants, reviewing contractor PPM documentation, logbooks, and inspecting plant room and M&E equipment.
- Review Water Management System and Closed Water testing data.
- Review all MEP-related H&S requirements and associated documentation.
- Monitor statutory and internal compliance, including meeting MAPP policies, RICS and ISO standards.

Requirements
- 4 years experience of working in a similar role.
- Demonstrable understanding of building engineering, technical services, and maintenance, typically in high-quality commercial office property.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, L8, LOLER, PUWER, IPAF, PASMA, CDM, and High Voltage distribution.
- Knowledge of working at height, confined spaces, pressure systems.
- Substantial knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems.
- Computer literate; able to create spreadsheets, presentations and write logical, succinct, and persuasive reports.
- Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role.

- Meeting any statutory timelines and escalation requirements.
