About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will carry out a range of first and second fix carpentry works across construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out first and second fix carpentry works.
- Installing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves and ironmongery.
- Fitting kitchens, timber flooring and other internal fixtures where required.
- Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials to specification.
- Reading and interpreting drawings and technical plans.
- Repairing, maintaining and replacing timber structures and fittings as required.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Reporting any defects or additional works required to the site management team.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience as a Carpenter.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
