About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will carry out a range of first and second fix carpentry works across construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out first and second fix carpentry works.
  • Installing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves and ironmongery.
  • Fitting kitchens, timber flooring and other internal fixtures where required.
  • Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials to specification.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and technical plans.
  • Repairing, maintaining and replacing timber structures and fittings as required.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Reporting any defects or additional works required to the site management team.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience as a Carpenter.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
