About the Role
The Internal Communications Analyst drives employee engagement, connects teams to the company’s vision, and translates strategic priorities into compelling narratives for diverse internal audiences. This role requires creative storytelling, design, and strong business acumen, along with fluency in both English and French.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of internal communications plans aligned to business and functional priorities.
- Draft, edit, and format a range of communication materials, including leadership messages, employee updates, newsletters, intranet content, presentations, talking points, and event communications.
- Coordinate communications calendars, timelines, approvals, and distribution across multiple channels.
- Manage communications across multiple platforms, including intranets (such as SharePoint), email campaigns, town halls, and internal newsletters.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including People & Performance, leadership, plant/site teams, and business functions to gather inputs and ensure message alignment.
- Help manage internal communication channels and recommend the best format, channel, and cadence for different messages.
- Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives through communications planning and content development.
- Assist with communications for key business moments, change initiatives, events, and plant/site-based activities as needed.
- Track communications performance and engagement metrics, and help turn insights into practical recommendations.
- Maintain communication assets, templates, and content repositories to support consistency and efficiency.
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for communications projects and priorities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or a related role.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to tone, clarity, and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong design skills and experience in using design software/platforms.
- Fluency in both English & French is required.
