About the Role

Peloton is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of existing portfolios. This role requires a leader who can navigate technical complexity and drive alignment across the organization, operating at the intersection of hardware, software, and content.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Peloton portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and anticipating future user needs.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch analysis.
  • Work with a highly cross-functional team (Industrial Design, Hardware and Software Engineering, Operations, Content, and Marketing) and be responsible for difficult feature tradeoff decisions.
  • Use deep understanding of end-to-end system architecture to inform product decisions and ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to identify new opportunities and validate product decisions.
  • Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for future improvement.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager in hardware, including fitness equipment or adjacent consumer hardware.
  • Knowledgeable about end-to-end system architecture at a deep level and comfortable discussing tradeoffs and requirements with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.
  • Strong history of success leading highly cross-functional projects from concept to launch.
  • Skilled at communicating with and influencing diverse stakeholders, from design and marketing to engineering and operations.
  • Deep understanding of the hardware development process, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
