About the Role
As our Product Owner, you will own the 'what' and 'why' behind what our Product team builds. You will translate user needs, business goals, and data into a clear roadmap, and make decisions on prioritization. This role requires someone who can say no, defend decisions with data, and keep teams aligned.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product roadmap for your domain, based on user needs, business goals, and data.
- Translate strategy into clear, well-defined requirements for engineers and designers.
- Prioritize the backlog and make trade-off decisions on what gets built next.
- Execute sprints by running sprint planning meetings, creating and updating tickets, and ensuring they are on track.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to maintain alignment on goals and rationale.
- Ship value quickly by scoping tightly and orchestrating releases.
- Utilize data and user feedback to validate decisions and measure post-launch impact.
- Clearly communicate progress, decisions, and trade-offs to stakeholders across the company.
- Continuously refine your domain's strategy as the business and user needs evolve.
Requirements
- Ability to transform ambiguity into a clear plan, and a clear plan into shipped features.
- Strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions, but not be paralyzed without data.
- A keen eye for design and usability.
- Commercial sense and basic understanding of P&L.
- Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) is a plus.
- Affinity with mobility, logistics, or consumer apps is a plus.
Experience Level
- 2-4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
Education Level
- HBO, university, or similar education, ideally in a relevant field.
