About the Role

As a Mobile Nursery Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean and safe nursery environment across multiple sites. Your work supports children’s wellbeing while helping educators focus on delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across different nursery locations
• Travel between sites during the week
• Complete daily, weekly and deep cleaning tasks
• Respond to urgent or additional cleaning needs as required
• Help cover other team members during holidays or busy periods
• Work collaboratively with the wider team
• Contribute towards a warm and respectful atmosphere for children and teams
• Always show strong attention to detail while respecting confidentiality and safeguarding
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to keep the nursery environment looking its best
• Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures to support health and safety standards
• Help create calm, organised spaces that support children’s daily experiences
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely
• Following company procedures and wearing protective equipment where needed
• Reporting any issues, hazards, or maintenance concerns

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience
• Able to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Flexible and comfortable working across different locations
• Good communication skills
• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities roles
• Worked in hotels, offices, schools, or healthcare settings
• Prefer evening work that fits around other commitments
• Enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your work
• Like variety and don’t want to be based in just one location
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Complete an enhanced DBS check
• Provide proof of identity
