About the Role

Securitas is seeking a Security Officer (m/f/d) for the reception of an embassy in Berlin-Tiergarten. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people.

Responsibilities

• Friendly reception and professional support of guests, visitors, and business partners
• Conducting access and entry controls to ensure on-site security
• Operating and monitoring security-related and technical equipment
• Regular control and patrol rounds in indoor and outdoor areas
• Receiving, forwarding, and connecting incoming telephone calls
• Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
• Supporting the adherence to security and service processes
• Point of contact for visitors, employees, and external service providers on site

Requirements

• Security check according to § 34a GewO (mandatory)
• Ideally, initial professional experience in reception, security, or service
• Training as a fire safety assistant or knowledge of preventive fire protection desirable
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong service and customer orientation, as well as a friendly demeanor
• Proficient use of standard MS Office applications
• High degree of responsibility, reliability, and resilience
• Independent, structured, and careful way of working
• Willingness to work shifts
• Impeccable certificate of good conduct
