About the Role

Sia is seeking a Data Engineer to support the growth of its Data Science Business Unit. You will participate in Sia's Data Science missions with clients, assisting Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and DevOps Engineers on data-intensive projects. Your work will focus on technical challenges related to data storage, flow, and processing, contributing to technology, architecture, and governance decisions for scaling Data projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL scripts within Big Data ecosystems.
• Implement technology watch and solutions for Machine Learning infrastructure and services.
• Develop server-side tools for data processing and API exposure using Python.
• Participate in Cloud Services architecture choices, including storage and compute services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for data qualification, enrichment, and processing.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, etc.).
• Experience with distributed computing tools like Hadoop or Spark.
• Experience with Machine Learning tools like Tensorflow or Torch.
• Fluency in French and English in a professional context.
