About the Role

Hult International Business School is seeking a Data Analyst to join the External Affairs team in London, UK. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the organization by providing data analytics, developing actionable insights, and delivering exceptional business value. The position suits an individual with an analytical mindset, a few years of experience with data and analytics, and the ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail is critical as the work will support decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Support major statutory student returns, optimizing their impact and using the resultant data to support the organization.
• Collect and analyze internal and external data, preparing reports, forecasts, models, and ‘what if’ scenarios.
• Consult with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Academic teams) to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights.
• Collate data from multiple sources and databases (sales, marketing, operations, market trends, competition, finance, customer) to create integrated views for decision-making.
• Design and build reports, dashboards, and analyses in Excel, SQL, Python, Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake.

Requirements

• Typically 2-3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.
• Exceptional motivation, curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret industry trends and business needs; an analytical mindset is key.
• Understanding of database capabilities and experience integrating, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data from diverse sources.
• Ability to prioritize, meet challenging deadlines, and instill urgency.
• Flexibility, open-mindedness, and agility.
• Self-directed and self-motivated with demonstrated strengths in reporting, planning, and project management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability and desire to collaborate with key business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong SQL skills required.
• Experience with Python, Tableau, and Snowflake is highly desirable.
• Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude code) and modern development environments (e.g., VS Code) to accelerate analysis, coding, and reporting workflows.
