About the Role
Seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the Commercial team on the Sydney Metro West Linewide Project. This role manages subcontract procurement, contract administration, and cost control to ensure successful commercial project delivery. You will collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to align procurement strategies and subcontract scopes with construction methodologies and program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Draft scopes of work for tender packages to accompany requests for quotation.
- Participate in tender interviews with subcontractors to clarify terms, conditions, and exclusions.
- Identify, assess, and negotiate departures from head contract terms within subcontract agreements.
- Proactively manage subcontract variations, claims, and change events, ensuring timely assessment, negotiation, and resolution.
- Demonstrate proficiency in project management systems, including Project Cost Reporting (PCR), Project Pack Web (PPW), Aconex, TeamBinder, and SharePoint.
- Monitor subcontractor financial performance and cash flow, contributing to project cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost forecasts for allocated subcontracts and cost codes.
