About the Role

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking Solicitors to join their Digital Legal Delivery practice. This team leverages cutting-edge technology and legal expertise to support clients with digital transformation and improve the efficiency of legal services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct document review and analysis, due diligence, or other practice area-specific fee-earning work with target average daily chargeable hours.
  • Undertake Quality Control and provide constructive feedback to ensure output consistency with HSF Kramer quality standards.
  • Work directly with other HSF Kramer practice groups in the global network to deliver high-quality support to clients and legal teams on appropriate projects.
  • Supervise Trainees or Legal Analysts on individual matters, complex legal issues, or as directed by Senior Solicitors, Managers, or Senior Managers of the Digital Disputes team on appropriate projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant areas of law.
  • Ensure compliance with financial disciplines on matters, including daily time recording.
  • Provide other assistance to the business on client matters and related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales or Northern Ireland. Republic of Ireland or other common law jurisdictions may be considered.
  • Minimum 2+ year's PQE, with at least 12 months' experience in Disputes/litigation.
  • An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in a commercial legal environment, ideally a private practice law firm.
  • Knowledge and experience of legal work for the Disputes practice group, for example large scale document review, with the ability to project manage the process from instruction to completion.
