About the Role

Contributes to the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function in Europe by providing oversight and analytical support for non-financial risk management, focusing on risk control, governance, and policy management. The role also supports other non-financial risk management areas as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate EXCO/CRO reporting, including RAF metrics, strategic risk dashboard (UK), reputational risk dashboard, and top and emerging risk dashboard.
  • Produce and coordinate reports for the Risk Committee, Board, and regulators.
  • Produce the GRM Control & Governance report.
  • Conduct horizon-scanning for GRM, liaise with risk SMEs for impact assessment, and report to ERCG.
  • Support the Risk assurance team on ad-hoc projects or deliverables.
  • Support and collaborate with other members of the ERM team.
  • Build and manage relationships with key Global and GBM Risk Management stakeholders.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations, ensuring adequacy, adherence, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls meet internal and regulatory obligations.
  • Contribute to a high-performance environment and foster an inclusive work environment, supporting the team’s vision, values, and business strategy.

Requirements

  • University Degree/MBA experience in a capital markets environment, preferably in a Risk Management or a first-line control role.
  • Understanding of a Markets environment, stakeholder demands, and related products (securities and derivatives).
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), listening, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables.
