About the Role

The Accounting Controls and Reporting (ACR) Manager will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of ACR Entity Reporting activities, supporting statutory reporting (US GAAP and Local GAAP), and month-end close activities. This role involves managing the work of Statutory Accountants and overseeing the audit and financial statement preparation process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the work of the Statutory Accounting team, fostering a culture of high quality and deadline adherence.
  • Coach and develop the Statutory Accounting team.
  • Oversee the end-to-end Local Statutory Audit process and Local Accounts Statutory filing to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submissions.
  • Manage the implementation and reconciliation of secondary ledgers and local books.
  • Provide oversight to the EY co-sourcing relationship, guiding partnership and ensuring quality output.
  • Support ad hoc activities such as providing technical accounting expertise and managing special projects.
  • Support and develop a culture of process management and improvement.
  • Identify and resolve key risks.
  • Assess, understand, and manage interdependencies between work streams and drive collaboration to resolve issues.
  • Manage reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Oversee the smooth running of a high-quality and timely month-end close.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in finance, accounting, or business.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Audit and Statutory Accounting experience.
  • Experience managing others.
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting processes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • US GAAP experience/shared service environment (Preferred).
  • Working with multi-currency consolidations including complex currency transactions & structures (Preferred).
  • Previous experience working with an outsourced accounting function (Preferred).
  • Experienced with managing a diverse team (Preferred).
