About the Role

Gain practical experience in the legal department of Vattenfall GmbH in Berlin during your legal clerkship. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in an internationally operating group and learn the work of a lawyer in the energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the legal department and relevant specialist departments, responding to their inquiries.
• Provide legal advice for both German Vattenfall companies and the entire international Vattenfall group.
• Prepare legal opinions and draft submissions, presenting them to relevant specialist departments and your team.
• Analyze current court decisions and laws, applying them to current topics and inquiries.
• Participate in internal and external meetings, including court appearances, and daily business operations.

Requirements

• Completed law studies with the First State Examination.
• Interest in energy industry topics, the energy transition, and the growing e-mobility sector.
• Strong collaboration skills, communicative, and team-oriented.
• Very good German language skills.
• Good English language skills.
