About the Role

Join us as we set the next milestone on the path to industrial production of green methanol. Green methanol starts here – with you, if you want to help shape processes, creatively solve technical challenges, and make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Shape processes and creatively solve technical challenges.
  • Contribute hands-on skills in electrical, chemical, and mechanical tasks, from laying cables and replacing components to operating a chemical pilot plant.
  • Independently build and operate a workshop area.
  • Operate, maintain, and repair research facilities and small components, continuously learning new things.
  • Perform metalworking tasks, such as pipe bending or machining.
  • Work in an environment that values reliability and precision, including adherence to maintenance schedules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with chemists, engineers, and technicians in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Work responsibly and safety-consciously, adhering to occupational health and safety and environmental standards.
  • Understand and help shape the underlying processes, not just work on machines.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a mechatronics technician, process technician, or industrial mechanic.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of chemical research or production plants.
  • Practical experience with pumps, valves, and piping systems.
  • Basic knowledge of MSR technology (measurement, control, and regulation technology).
  • Experience with pressure, temperature, and flow sensors.
  • Know-how in metal technology (e.g., pipe bending, machining).
  • Electrical switching authorization or relevant practical experience in electrical engineering.
