Responsibilities
- Develop FPGA systems (including SoC, SoM) for display and control concepts in prototype and small series vehicles.
- Create FPGA designs for signal processing and control operations.
- Develop data loggers for consolidating vehicle data (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Utilize modern high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, and MIPI.
- Develop and implement proprietary IP cores in VHDL.
- Commission developed functions from prototype to series readiness.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software development experts from the concept phase.
- Deepen collaboration with renowned partners in FPGA development.
- Work on a wide variety of projects, including those in defense, motorsport, medical technology, commercial vehicles, and robotics.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in the specification, implementation, and verification of FPGA designs.
- Experience in integrating IP cores, bus systems (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, AXI, Wishbone, PCIe), and digital video transmission standards.
- Know-how in development with Zynq, Zynq UltraScale+, Artix, and expertise in AMD/Xilinx development tools are helpful.
- Experience in embedded C software development on microcontrollers (e.g., AVR, ARM Cortex-M, MicroBlaze, Nios II) and knowledge of embedded Linux are advantageous.
- Good German and good English language skills are required for national and international collaboration.
