About the Role

Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of software products and platforms that drive digital transformation. Provide scalable and secure software solutions to clients across various industries, contributing to improved business value and customer experience. Drive strategic projects in embedded software, digital platforms, and industrial software. At the senior level, be involved in technical leadership, customer relationships, project management, team development, and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Software design and development
Design and development of software products using modern architecture
Building microservice architectures and cloud-native applications
Promoting high-quality development processes using DevSecOps and CI/CD
Leading technical design reviews and code reviews
Requirements definition and specification development in collaboration with product owners and customers
Designing solutions that translate business requirements into technical requirements
Leading customer workshops and technical proposals
Building relationships with stakeholders and managing expectations
System integration design and API development
Test strategy development and quality control
Implementation of measures to optimize performance and improve system stability
Responding to security compliance requirements
Project planning and progress management
Collaboration with offshore and nearshore teams
Risk/issue management and escalation response
Lead of the Agile Development Team
Promoting the use of advanced technologies such as AI, Generative AI, IoT, and digital twins
Contributing to strategic areas such as Intelligent Mobility, Digital Healthcare, and Smart Manufacturing
Proposal activities (RFP/RFI response, proposal creation, cost estimation support)
Support for acquiring new customers and expanding accounts
Junior member development and mentoring
Participation in technical community activities
Standardization and deployment of best practices
Team building and organizational capacity building

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
7-15 years or more of software development experience
Development experience with Java, Spring Boot, React, or Angular
Experience in designing REST APIs and microservice architectures
Experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience in building CI/CD systems using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc.
Practical experience in agile development (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
Business level or higher Japanese communication skills
English communication skills
Solution architect or technical lead experience
Enterprise architecture design experience
Experience leading cloud migration projects
Experience in designing non-functional requirements (availability, performance, security)
Experience negotiating with customer CxOs, business leaders, and IT department heads
Experience in IT strategy formulation and DX promotion projects
End-to-end delivery experience from requirements definition to operation
Customer proposal experience at a consulting firm or system integrator
Experience managing projects with 20 or more people
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Experience in budget and revenue management (P&L management)
Experience collaborating with global teams and offshore development teams
Experience in proposal writing and presentation
Experience in handling RFPs/RFIs
Pre-sales experience
Track record of contributing to increased sales and project creation
