About the Role
Blackstone seeks an Associate to manage and strengthen relationships with key institutional clients, collaborating with investment and asset allocation teams to monitor portfolios and drive content creation for client insights.
Responsibilities
- Manage Blackstone’s cross-firm effort to serve key institutional clients
- Review and monitor multi-asset class portfolios
- Drive content creation and delivery of periodic portfolio insights
- Anticipate and coordinate responses for ad-hoc questions from institutional clients
- Establish strong working relationships across investment, legal, operations and finance teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Investment Sales, or Asset Management or Insurance Consulting
- Basic understanding of portfolio construction, fixed income and credit investment
- Strong experience across Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
- Works effectively in a group setting to achieve shared goals
- Willing to collaborate with colleagues across the Firm
- Strong project management skills and organization
- Ability to effectively communicate and differentiate the Blackstone value proposition
- An entrepreneurial spirit with enthusiasm to learn and take initiative
- Self-motivated and resourceful; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results
