About the Role
SPATRE Co., Ltd. is seeking enthusiastic French instructors to provide language training for government and public sector officials in Tokyo. This role focuses on improving students' French proficiency for their official duties within a friendly, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Improve students' French proficiency for official duties.
- Conduct 1-on-1 private lessons.
- Emphasize native-like pronunciation, intonation, and linking.
- Assign homework and test understanding at the start of each lesson.
- Provide counseling on study methods and offer re-tests.
- Discuss current events and advanced topics (security, diplomacy, military, politics, economics) for speaking and reading.
- Guide students in writing logical, structured essays on specific themes (especially security, diplomacy, and military).
- Help students grasp the main points of news broadcasts from French-speaking nations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching French.
- A cumulative total of at least 3 years living/staying in a French-speaking country.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-year university graduate).
- Daily conversational proficiency in Japanese for administrative communication.
- Based near Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience specifically teaching French (preferred).
