About the Role
The Sales Associate represents Club Pilates to potential clients, drives new prospect acquisition, and closes sales for memberships, private training, teacher training, and retail merchandise. This role also focuses on member retention through exceptional customer service. A fitness background is preferred, but a strong sales background is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Conduct studio tours while establishing relationships and targeting prospective member needs
- Maintain acceptable personal sales production
- Emphasize and enforce the studio's objectives as a fitness and wellness provider
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
- Participate in special events to promote the club
- Assume responsibility for developing selling skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours
- Sufficient hearing to understand conversations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Professional and effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
