About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager experienced in NEC ECC contracts to join our Water teams, focusing on flood defence schemes. This role involves delivering transformational outcomes for clients on significant projects, providing contractual advice and administration during the construction phase of Water, Civil Engineering, and Utilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Project manage civil engineering, water, and utility projects using NEC4/NEC3 ECC, including contract administration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, contractors, consultants, 3rd parties) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality.
• Provide high-level advice and support to resolve construction issues, ensuring decisions are based on sound technical grounds and best practices.
• Monitor work progress, identify delivery risks, and implement timely issue resolution to optimize time, finance, and effort.
• Provide quality management reporting on service delivery to support operational planning and business decisions.
• Support project teams in achieving well-planned integrated solutions that drive effective change and improvement.
• Promote health and safety awareness and ensure safe working practices.

Requirements

• Experience in project management and ECC contract management for successful delivery of large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Water, Environment, or Infrastructure projects.
• Strong and demonstrable experience with NEC forms of contract.
• Membership of ICE, RICS, APM, or CIWEM is advantageous.
• NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager is advantageous.
• Desired: Flood Risk Management experience and/or a background within Civil Engineering.
